To participate in the PADI Open Water Diver Course you must have adequate swimming skills, be in good physical health, and properly fill out a medical questionnaire.
- Please note: a medical evaluation by your doctor may be required to properly complete the medical form. Please complete the medical questionnaire first, so you have time to schedule a doctor's appointment, if needed.
- There are no refunds for failing to properly complete the medical form.
- No prior SCUBA experience is needed. Minimum age to participate is 10 years, which qualifies for a Jr. Open Water Diver.
- We require you to provide your own personal equipment as follows:
- mask
- snorkel
- fins
- neoprene boots
- diver logbook
- surface marker buoy
- whistle
- We also recommend that you have your own hood and gloves if you are finishing your Open Water Dives in California.

Cancellation Policy
We ask that you are committed to your dates before you sign up for class. You may cancel or change the date up to 3 weeks prior to your class date with a 4% processing fee. Any cancelations or date changes after the 3-week cut off will incur a $50 fee per student. Starting 1 week prior to your class date there are no refunds for cancelations or transfers. Failure to show up or call will forfeit your tuition. If you do not complete all your skills in the pool, or Open Water Dives. Private Dives can be scheduled at an additional cost. Tuition is non-refundable once your class begins, completed or not.
