Fun dive Van Damme Beach, Mendocino County

Join Jennifer for a local scuba dive. Lets explore the inner reef possibly harvest some urchins, but you are welcome to come and do whatever you prefer. If conditions agree for a second dive we can search for some anchors.
If you would like to collect some of these local urchin delicacies or go spearfishing, you will need a fishing license and your own gear. Stop by the shop if you would like some help with equipment needs.
A great opportunity for Freediving too!
Bring a lunch if you want, or stop at a local shop or restaurant on the way home.
Remember, whenever there is a day use or parking fee, in case conditions are not good, always drive through and check to see that we are going to stay and dive, before you pay (then hurry back and pay before parking). Map

All divers are responsible for their own safety and the safety of their buddy. All divers are responsible for providing and transporting their own equipment. We do have rentals available at the shop if needed. Some sites are remote and have no facilities so be prepared for that. |
