Caspar Cove Urchin Culling w/Watermen's Alliance
Come on out and Help the Kelp! Join the volunteer efforts to cull purple urchins at Caspar Cove in Mendocino County.
Josh from the Watermen's Alliance has arranged for Mendo Fire and Sonoma County Sheriff Dive Team to provide free tank fills again this year. The compressors will be at Caspar on the last Saturday of each month, April through September.

Josh is working on a process to sign up so that we know how many people to expect, if anyone plans on diving Sunday that would need tank fills, and it will allow us to send you a monthly newsletter. Signing up will not be required, it’s more to help know what to expect and to communicate to participants.
Josh is not doing the group campsite this year. Sorry for the late notice of this, but he will still be doing the potluck at his trailer Saturday afternoon. All are welcome. He won’t know the site number until that weekend.
The compressor will be available on:

May 25
June 29
July 27
August 31
September 28
The compressor may also be available Sunday depending on how many will be diving.
We made a big difference already. The Densities are measurably lower in our area.
