PADI Scuba Refresher

Also, in addition to the necessary in-water skill review offered in the SEALS Scuba Refresher course, you may also want to go through the PADI online ReActivate academic review and card replacement (optional, but recommended). Details.
You will review equipment use, revisit certain underwater skills, and have an opportunity to ask questions. If you have your own currently serviced scuba equipment or your own mask, snorkel, and fins, we encourage you to use them so you can refamiliarize yourself with your gear and make sure it works properly.
- Equipment is NOT included in the cost of tuition.
- Required personal equipment: mask, snorkel, fins.
- All other scuba gear will be rented for a $25 weekend rate. Standard rental rates apply for late returns.
- You will need to pick up your rental gear on the Friday or Saturday before your class and return rental gear on the Monday after class.
- Consider purchasing your scuba gear prior to class and getting to know it during training.
- Students get a LIFETIME DISCOUNT in the store, so make sure you introduce yourself when you come in!
- Please fill out the student form below for rental gear sizing.
- Come by the shop ASAP to reserve your gear, as it is first come, first served.
- You will need to pick up your rental equipment from the shop Friday or Saturday before class. If you already have your own equipment you MUST bring it into the shop for a gear check. Also bring in proof of prior scuba certification.
To participate in the SCUBA Refresher you must have proof of certification, adequate swimming skills, be in good physical health, and properly fill out a medical questionnaire, and liability release.
- Please note: a medical evaluation by your doctor may be required to properly complete the medical form. Please complete the medical questionnaire first, so you have time to schedule a doctor's appointment, if needed.
- There are no refunds for failing to properly complete the medical form.

Class Cancellation Policy
We ask that you commit to your date when signing up. Please note:
- Cancel or reschedule up to 3 weeks prior with a 4% processing fee.
- Cancellations or changes after the 3-week deadline will incur a $50 fee.
- Starting 1 week before class, there are no refunds for cancellations or transfers. You will need to pay and additional instructor fee of $100 for rescheduling.
- Failure to show up or call will result in forfeiting your tuition.
- Tuition is non-refundable once class begins, completed or not.
If you need a physician’s release, rescheduling follows the same policy.

- The training pool is at 875 Grant Ave, Novato, CA 94945. Access to the pool is on Cain ln. Which is the alley behind the store. There is underground parking at the Novato City Clerk building across Cain ln. from the pool.
