Ready to get started with scuba diving? Begin with the PADI Open Water Diver eLearning program to learn the fundamentals of scuba diving online, whenever and wherever it works for you.
Here’s How It Works
- Flexible Start: Begin anytime and complete the online portion at your own pace.
- Online Learning: Work through the knowledge-development portion of your Open Water Diver course before beginning your in-water training.
- In-Water Training: After completing your eLearning, you'll need to complete the required confined-water and open-water training with a PADI dive center or instructor.
Important Steps Before Signing Up
- Review the PADI Medical Form: Please review the PADI Diver Medical Participant Questionnaire before purchasing your eLearning. Depending on your answers, you may need approval from a physician before participating in your in-water training. If medical clearance is required, I recommend taking care of that before purchasing your eLearning.
- Minimum Age: The minimum age for the PADI Open Water Diver course is 10.
