PADI Pool training dives
You need to download the PADI App from Apple App Store or Google Play Store to access you PADI dive log and certification card.
Your safety is important to us. Before signing up, please print and fill out this Medical Form.To participate in the PADI Open Water Diver Course you must have adequate swimming skills, be in good physical health, and properly fill out a medical questionnaire.
- Please note: a medical evaluation by your doctor may be required to properly complete the medical form. Please complete the medical questionnaire first, so you have time to schedule a doctor's appointment, if needed.
- There are no refunds for failing to properly complete the medical form.
Please print the Required check list below to insure you have everything ready prior to your pool training.
- Required equipment is NOT included in the cost of tuition or rental package.
- Required equipment: mask, snorkel, fins, surface marker buoy and whistle.
- If you plan on doing your ocean dives in California you will also need a hood, boots, and gloves for pool training.
- All other scuba gear will be rented for a $25 weekend rate. ($95 value) Standard rental rates apply for late returns.
- You will need to pick up your rental gear on the Friday or Saturday before your class and return rental gear on the Monday after class.
- Consider purchasing your scuba gear prior to class and getting to know it during training.
- Students get a LIFETIME DISCOUNT in the store, so make sure you introduce yourself when you come in!
- Please fill out the student form below for rental gear sizing.
- Come by the shop ASAP to reserve your gear, as it is first come, first served.
Cancellation Policy
We ask that you are committed to your dates before you sign up for class. You may cancel or change the date up to 3 weeks prior to your class date with a 4% processing fee. Any cancelations or date changes after the 3-week cut off will incur a $50 fee per student. Starting 1 week prior to your class date there are no refunds for cancelations or transfers. Failure to show up or call will forfeit your tuition. If you do not complete all your skills in the pool, or Open Water Dives. Private Dives can be scheduled at an additional cost. Tuition is non-refundable once your class begins, completed or not.
Please review the medical form before signing up. Rescheduling due to needing a physician's release is subject to our policy above.
We need a minimum of 2 students to run this class. If the minimum is not met we will reschedule the class for a later date.

9am sharp - approximately 5pm. Please arrive 15 minutes early to secure parking and bring your gear to the pool.
Deadline to sign up is the Monday prior to the class.

- The training pool is at 875 Grant Ave, Novato, CA 94945. Access to the pool is on Cain ln. Which is the alley behind the store. There is underground parking at the Novato City Clerk building across Cain ln. from the pool.

Requirements: | You must first complete the PADI Open Water Diver E-learning. Paperwork needed to participate: Diver medical, E-learning final exam, student record folder, and PADI App. Students need to provide their own personal equipment. Mask, snorkel, fins, surface marker buoy, and whistle. You will also need boots, gloves and a hood. Please come in to the store ASAP so we can have you fitted and reserve your rental gear for training. You will need to pick up your rental equipment from SEALS Friday before your class and return in the Monday after class. If you already have your own equipment you MUST bring it into the store for a gear check. If you don't bring equipment in for a gear check, we will require you to rent or purchase equipment. |
