To participate in the PADI Open Water Diver Course you must have adequate swimming skills, be in good physical health, and properly fill out a medical questionnaire.
Please print the Required check list below to insure you have everything ready prior to your pool training.
Students are responsible for providing their own personal equipment, mask, snorkel, fins, logbook, surface marker buoy and whistle.
If you plan on doing your ocean dives in California you will also need hood, boots and gloves for pool training.
All other gear is provided for pool training. You will need to pick up rental gear Friday or Saturday before your class and return on Monday.
Please fill out the student form below for rental gear sizing. It's always better to come into the shop ASAP to reserve your gear.

Cancellation Policy
We ask that you are committed to your dates before you sign up for class. Class tuition is not changeable and is non-refundable once signed up. However if you need to a cancel, please do so no less than 10 days prior to your class and you will be put on standby for a future class with availability. Failure to show up or call will forfeit your tuition.
If you do not complete all of your Open Water Dives, Private Dives can be scheduled at an additional cost.
Tuition is non-refundable once your class begins, completed or not.
Please review the medical form before signing up. Rescheduling due to needing a physician's release is subject to our policy above.

9am sharp - approximately 5pm. Please arrive 15 minutes early to secure parking and bring your gear to the pool.

Requirements: | You must first complete the PADI Open Water Diver E-learning. Paperwork needed at the pool to participate: Diver medical, E-learning final exam, logbook and student record folder. Students need to provide their own personal equipment. Mask, snorkel, fins, safety marker buoy, and whistle. You will also need boots, gloves and a hood if you plan on doing your Open Water Dives in California. We will supply the rest of the equipment. Please come in to the store ASAP so we can have you fitted and reserve your gear for training. You will need to pick up your rental equipment from SEALS the Friday or Saturday before your class and return it the Monday after class. If you already have your own equipment you MUST bring it into the store for a gear check. If you don't bring equipment in for a gear check, we will require you to rent or purchase equipment. |
