PADI Scuba Refresher

The Scuba Refresher course is just the thing for getting back in the water after being away from diving for a while. If you have not been diving in the past 6 months, most tropical dive operators will insist that you take a refresher and miss a day of boat diving before getting started - at your own expense, of course. So, if you are not planning to take a refresher when you get there, plan to take one before you go...and bring your log book so we can record proof of your refresher course and sign you off.

You will review equipment use, revisit certain underwater skills, and have an opportunity to ask questions. If you have your own currently serviced scuba equipment or your own mask, snorkel, and fins, we encourage you to use them so you can get use to it all again at the same time.

You will need to pick up your rental equipment from the shop Friday or Saturday before class.  If you already have your own equipment you MUST bring it into the shop for a gear check. Also bring in proof of prior scuba certification.

To participate in the SCUBA Refresher you must have adequate swimming skills, be in good physical health, and properly fill out a medical questionnaire.

  • Please note: a medical evaluation by your doctor may be required to properly complete the medical form. Please complete the medical questionnaire first, so you have time to schedule a doctor's appointment, if needed.
  • There are no refunds for failing to properly complete the medical form.
