Certified divers...get your Advanced Certification while you gain experience.

5 Fun Dives. 5 Different Dive Themes. No Test

The best way for Certified divers to gain experience is to do so under supervision in the PADI Adventures in Diving program. By completing this course you will receive your Advanced Certification, required for many diving activities like wreck diving, etc.. Commonly completed over just one weekend, you will make 5 dives, each having a different theme, such as: Night Diving, Underwater Navigation, Deep Diving, Altitude Diving, Wreck Diving, Peak Performance Buoyancy, Underwater Photography, and much more. Because of their great importance to your enjoyment and safety, Underwater Navigation, and Deep Diving (greater than 60 feet), are required as 2 out of the 5 dives. The theme of the remaining 3 dives is optional, but mostly determined by location.

The entire course is just so fun - you read up on each of the 5 different dives, hear a pre-dive explanation from your Instructor about what is involved with each dive, make each dive, and then have a de-briefing conversation after each dive on what you experienced.

Most commonly, we teach this course as a part of a Channel Islands boat trip (sold separately). See Activities > Boat Dives, for details.

How to get started:

BEFORE SIGNING UP complete the medical form (CLICK HERE). If you answer "Yes" to any of the questions, you will need a doctors release to participate in scuba. Do this first, before signing up. No cancellations or refunds for medical issues.

When ready, click here and go to the Padi online eLearning center and get started on the self home study portion. Then call or come by SEALS to sign up for the hands-on portion(s) (see schedule below).

Also, reserve your spot on the boat, by selecting: Activities > Boat Dives on the above navigation menu.

You will need your own personal Mask, Snorkel, Fins, (as well as Boots and Gloves if finishing in California), dive light, and an underwater writing slate. Most divers buy their own wet suit and scuba gear too, and we have some great options for you...however we also rent equipment. For your Adventures Diving weekend, if you choose to rent, we offer a wet suit and scuba gear package for just $100. The best scenario of course, is to purchase your gear before your class and get use to it during class. The choice is yours.

Costs for each portion: Class Tuition $99. Before doing the dives, you will need to complete the PADI online eLearning and processing $174 (sold separately). Book packets also available at SEALS for those traveling who want that option.

And...as a SEALS student you also qualify for a Forever Discount on equipment purchases!
