About us

Seals Watersports grew out of a Sonoma County dive business with roots stretching back more than 50 years. Originally Pinnacles Dive Center, the business passed from father to son before Scott Taylor joined the operation and spent roughly 25 years helping serve the local dive community.
In 2014, Scott purchased the Santa Rosa store and it became Seals Watersports.

I worked alongside Scott for years and eventually became General Manager, running the day-to-day operation of the store. In 2021, Sara and I purchased Seals Watersports from Scott and my mom and became the next owners of the business. We carried it forward until the sale of our building brought the Santa Rosa retail chapter to a close in 2026.

The storefront may be gone, but my connection to the North Coast dive community isn't. I'm working on what comes next.
